Stuffed Dates with No Nuts, Dairy, or Soy

These stuffed dates are free of nuts, dairy, and soy. If you wish, you can color the frosting with holiday-themed food coloring. they make wonderful gifts from the kitchen.

Yield: 24 dates

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Make a slit the long way on each date. Pull out pits and discard.

Using a pastry tube or plastic bag with one corner snipped off, pipe frosting into the hollow of each date.

Dust dates with powdered sugar and serve, or refrigerate for later use.
