Dairy-Free, Soy-Free Frosting

Frosting makes it all better.

This frosting recipe is free of both dairy and soy, for people with multiple food allergies.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: Aproximately 2 cups


  • 1/2 cup soy-free, dairy-free margarine (such as Earth Balance)

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 Tablespoon rice milk (or more, as needed)


Using an electric mixer, beat together the margarine, vanilla extract, and 1 cup of the powdered sugar until they are well mixed. Slowly add remaining powdered sugar until all is mixed in. Continue to beat with mixer and add rice milk a little bit at a time until frosting is smooth and fluffy.
