Welcome to Edition #11 of the Living With Food Allergies Blog Carnival! This week we've got ten posts ranging from recipes to managing allergies in daycare. Let's get right to it!
Recipes, Recipes, and More Delicious Recipes!
- Allergicmom shares How to Make Chocolate Lollipops (plus how to negotiate with an adorable and mischievous four-year-old!) at My Kid's Allergies. These treats are multiple allergen-free, notably nuts and dairy.
- Gina Clowes of Allergy Moms presents Food Allergy Friendly Pizza Cookies, and the photo must be seen to be believed. Absolutely the perfect kid-pleasing thing to share at school or at a kids' party (and easily transportable in a pizza box!), and free of gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs to boot.
- Libby from The Allergic Kid shares two recipes: fluffy Faux Buttermilk Pancakes and Italian Meatballs with Angel Hair Pasta. Both recipes are egg- and dairy-free, and I am definitely going to try her technique for binding the meatballs without eggs soon!
And Speaking Of Food....
- Anne-Marie from This Mama Cooks! On a Diet raves about Divvies, popcorn and cupcakes safe for multiple food allergies.
- Theo of Organic Test Kitchen blogs on the early stages of living with a Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, and Caffeine-Free Diet and the elimination diet's impact on his overall health.
- I present Adapting Recipes: A Case Study, which follows my own trial-and-error experiences coming up with a workable gluten-free filled pasta that can also be made without eggs or dairy.
- Ruth from Allergizer, in the wake of Martha Stewart's halfhearted "compromise" on the food allergy publication "Big Idea," proposes a Martha-Free, Allergen-Free Recipe Exchange.
Food Allergy Lifestyle
- My Buddy Mimi shares Daycare Tango, her experiences switching her dairy allergic daughter's daycare center.
- And last but certainly not least, Ria Sharon's Check My Tag Community presents some terrific tips for Peanut Allergies and Airplanes. I especially love her idea for making sure her four-year-old doesn't inadvertently come across peanuts a previous passenger may have left.
And that's it! Go forth and read. The next edition of the Living With Food Allergies Carnival will be on March 6, and the theme will be "Travel Tips." You can submit your favorite travel hints or any other writing on life with food allergies at this link. Thanks for reading!

I just wanted to give you a belated thank you for hosting the carnival. Lots of tasty link goodness…yum!
