  • ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition just featured the Stockdale family of Middleton, Idaho, whose children are living with Eosinophilic Gastointestinal Disorders (EGID). If you'd like to see the show again, or if you missed it last night, you can find it online as of today. Want to learn more about EGID? The American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders has volunteers available to answer questions raised by the recent TV coverage by phone or e-mail.
  • Check out the best allergy writing on the blogosphere over the last couple weeks in the most recent Living with Food Allergies blog carnival! The current biweekly edition features resources for parents, recipes, gluten-free diet tips, and more.
  • Life with severe, multiple food allergies was recently the subject of discussion on CNN, as parent Jo Parker related her son Teddy's journey to diagnosis and the steps she takes to keep him safe. Be sure to check out the (mostly supportive) comments. Also of note: a youth soccer coach reacted to the article by considering how youth sports should deal with severe food allergies.
